About
Jackie Burns is a Fellow of the International Association for Astronomical Artists, a science communicator, and a multi-disciplined artist, specialising in aerospace, astronomy, terrestrial and extra-terrestrial landscapes, and general science. Her media includes acrylic on canvas, digital, fibre, glass, metal, clay, paper sculpture and creative writing. Her recent exhibitions include NASA’s 60th Anniversary Art Exhibition at Houston, Texas (2018); ConFusion, Virtual Art Show (2021). She was also the Lead Artist for the Mandala Festival at Stanford-le-Hope in Sept. 2020 (Kenetica and T100 Thurrock). As a science communicator she also gives PowerPoint/Keynote talks.
